Club Captain impressed by our ‘Young Reporters’

Our Sirius North Young Reporters put all their hard work and new skills to the test recently, conducting their very own press conference with Hull City Club Captain, Curtis Davies.

The students have received over 20 hours of training and hands on experience, interacting with club and stadium personnel.  They have practised interview skills with Hull City U21 players, made video reports around the stadium and watched Hull City face Arsenal in the FA Cup, before writing their own match reports.  This experience culminated in the young reporters holding their own press conference in the media suite at the KCom Stadium.

A very exciting afternoon, especially for the teacher Miss Warcup, Hull City’s no 1 fan.  The students asked some very intelligent and well thought out questions.  One particular young reporter asked some very challenging questions, the Hull City Official Supporters club would be proud!  Although, I think Curtis’ favourite question was “Who is your favourite monster?”.

A huge thank you to all involved with this fantastic programme, @sirius_north, Hull City U21s, @Hull City and @TheCurtisDavies.
